At times the Activity List could feel overwhelming. For Madden NFL 23 it was clear that a emphasis was placed on improving the user experience for this important component within the Hub. Text was trimmed while spam is reduced and the icons have been made to make every action clear. We have improved your activity feed so that you can easily navigate to where you need to go.

Improved Usability

A common omission of the ease with which a menu can be used is the font used. In all Franchise new fonts have been released in order to enhance the readability, and consequently the usability of every feature. Because of the numerous screens in the franchise, this improvements can be seen everywhere.

SCOUTING

We have received a ton of wonderful feedback since we completely revamped the Scouting system in Madden 22 and released Post launch Title Update. Every one of the Scouting improvements we're talking about today are based on that feedback.

Scout Updates

Over 50 scouts have been added to Madden 23. which doubles the number of free-agent scouts by 50 to 100. and raising the total amount of scouts to 250. In addition, we've ensured that every position has at least one scout on each tier with the requisite expertise. With the exception of a few all positions are comprised of multiple scouts in each stage.

Scouts from teams have also been updated. Each scout in one team now represents the team's needs with the higher-tier Scouts reflecting larger requirements. For Madden 22 Focus Scouting was limited to a single position and the amount of information that you'd receive from a draft group was not enough to make a confident decision. This year, we've combined similar positions together , so that when you're Focus Scouting, you'll get details on all players within the grouping, not just one.

Attribute Reveal Improvements

One of the most important items of feedback we received during the scouting update last year was the release of information about college prospects. It was entirely random and would often leave you guessing at the most crucial attributes you'd most want to know about for a prospect. Based on feedback from users and our own research, we've made several improvements to those reveals to give you the data you're seeking faster as and keep you out of the dark about prospects but still retaining some suspense.

We've increased the importance of reveal reveals in favour of primary attributes, which makes it better to be a core attribute than Madden 22 when an attribute is revealed to represent a key attribute instead of an attribute that is secondary. In addition, when you've reached 50% of scouting an individual player, any inaccessible attributes will change into an a 3-letter range.
