Mexico could use these resources to become a leader in the supply of green hydrogen and green ammonia, helping to decarbonize the oil refining and chemical industries.

Along this path, Mexico needs to invest $60 billion to $75 billion in its chemical industry over the next 15 years (an average of $4 billion to $5 billion per year).
