A new rumor claims Genshin Impact is going to be adding a set of character skins to the game, featuring a few of the first characters ever released. Version 3.8 is anticipated to launch sometime within the summer, likely in July in line with the game's six-week patch cycles.

The update also gave some information about the main event for Version 3.8. Version 3.8 is anticipated to feature an island-themed event much like previous visits to the Golden Apple Archipelago, with Klee likely playing a primary role. Ray revealed a quartet of Mondstadt characters is going to be starring in the event with Eula, Amber, Klee, and Kaeya reportedly appearing. Genshin Impact's past Golden Apple Archipelago events have featured new skins for characters associated with the event's story.
