The Eso Alliances are a set of alliances which players can choose to join. These alliances include: Alik'r Desert, Ebonheart Pact, and Direnni. Each of these alliances has unique designs for their armors. So, if you're looking to get a new set of armor, you'll want to check out these alliances.
Ebonheart Pact
Ebonheart Pact is an alliance made up of several northern and eastern provinces of Tamriel. It's a military alliance formed in the aftermath of the Second Akaviri Invasion. The main goal is to protect the territories of Tamriel from the Empire. The alliance mainly consists of the Argonian race, but also has members of the Nords, and Dark Elves. They joined together to protect themselves from the Empire, but have also had a history of war with the Dark Elves.
Players of Ebonheart Pact will be able to explore the areas of Argonian and Nord territory. They will also be able to meet important characters of the Ebonheart Pact such as Jorunn the Skald-King.
While this storyline hasn't been quite as well-developed as the other two alliances, it does offer a good time for Elder Scrolls fans. This is especially true for players who are familiar with the history of Tamriel. In this alliance, you will find a lot of tension. You'll be tasked with protecting the crown of King Joruun while battling the Aldmeri Dominion. Direnni
While there is no concrete proof of the existence of the Direnni (not that there's a shortage of swashbuckling jerks, they just ain't as bloodthirsty as the rabid hounds of Hell) there is evidence that they were present in High Rock circa 3,000 years B.E., as a rule they were not given to excessive religion. This was a good thing as the hares were a tad too petty and the sassy snots ain't much fun when they're chasing you down the back roads.
The Direnni did not have a single stout HQ in the capital city, they were scattered across the greater High Rock, especially the Iliac Bay, where the swashbuckling jerks abound. However, the swashbuckling jerks were not without their share of hilarity, for example the one that was sworn to a non-existent enemy. There is no reason to doubt that Direnni were still around in the 21st century millennium, although their numbers are dwindling and their place in the sun is fading away.
Alik'r Desert
If you're looking for an experience farm to fill up your inventory, Alik'r Desert is one of the best choices in Hammerfell. Despite its dune-like landscape, there are plenty of accessible locations. There are also several dungeons for players to explore. It's a good place to try out your hand at Dolmen farming, which is often a good way to level up quickly.
The region also offers several interesting dungeons to explore, including the nifty little Mundus Stone. This small stone will give you a temporary buff when you're under 30 percent health.
Although Alik'r is an arid landscape, it has some exciting and challenging quest lines. These are tied into the Daggerfall Covenant storyline. As with most areas in Stormhaven, you'll want to wear leather armor to protect yourself from any desert creatures that may get your fancy. The area also boasts some impressive architecture. While you're there, you'll also want to check out the ominous ruins of the Na-Totambu.
Nordic armor design
If you're not familiar with Nordic armor, you might be wondering what it is. In ESO, Nordic armor can be worn on your character. It is a purely cosmetic style that can be applied to your outfit using Outfit Station. Unlike the Elven design, which is elegant and slender, the Nord design relies on simple, heavy forms.
The Nordic design is based on the design of Nordic Carved Armor from TES V: Skyrim. While the design is not exclusive to the Nords, it is a fairly common aesthetic that you'll see in the game. Aside from its aesthetic, the Nordic armor also serves as a great example of how ESO's designers heavily borrowed from Skyrim's design.
