Genshin Impact's social networking accounts have officially confirmed two new characters, Baizhu and Kaveh, for the upcoming version 3.6. The game's playable roster keeps expanding with every new update that arrives. The first banner cycles for that ongoing version 3.4 added two new Dendro users, Yaoyao and Alhaitham.

The recent live stream event for that upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.5 confirmed the arrival of the famous Pyro claymore five-star Dehya along with a Cryo user from Mondstadt named Mika. Even though update 3.5 hasn't arrived yet, developer HoYoverse already confirmed the arrival of two new playable units for 3.6.

Genshin Impact's official Twitter account has finally confirmed previous rumors claiming that Baizhu and Kaveh will arrive in update 3.6. Since his first appearance in Liyue's Archon Quest, Baizhu continues to be one of the most anticipated characters locally. One of the main reasons has become the fact that at that time he was the only real character hanging around to appear having a Dendro Vision. This led many players to think that he would get to be the first Dendro character to become listed on the playable roster. However, HoYoverse delayed his release probably while he is from the Liyue region and nearly every currently playable Dendro user hanging around is from Sumeru.

Kaveh may also be a new Dendro user who is likely to have a lesser four-star rarity. Sumeru's official storyline introduced him being an eccentric character whose actions will always be led by emotions which is the complete opposite of his roommate Alhaitham. He is also called a famous architect from Sumeru who created various buildings such as the Palace of Alcazarzaray, one of the most iconic landmarks within the Dendro region.

Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed more details about Baizhu's and Kaveh's power on the battlefield. Baizhu will be considered a supporting character who can provide offensive and defensive buffs to his associates. Rumors also have mentioned he will also have the possibility to deal some damage meaning his kit might be similar to Zhongli's.

Kaveh is also likely to be a brand new Dendro support that can increase his teammates' Normal Attack speed and Elemental Skill damage. When it comes to their release date, Genshin Impact version 3.6 is likely to arrive around mid-April, a minimum of according to the game's usual update schedule.
